NYC — A University of Portland research challenges the perception that is popular there clearly was a “new and pervasive hookup culture” among modern students.
“Present research and popular media reports have described intimate relationships among modern university students since seen as a a fresh and pervasive hookup tradition by which pupils frequently have sexual intercourse without any strings connected,” stated research co-author Martin Monto, a sociology teacher during the University of Portland. “This signifies that the school campus is becoming a more sexualized environment and that undergraduates are having more intercourse than previously.
